Ok...so here I am. Finally! After six years together.... WE ARE ENGAGED! I am so happy to become Mrs. Megan Eva Miller Yates!!! And as Brooke as my inspiration....I am going to keep you updated with my wedding. Any advice? :)
okay, Megan, here is my piece of advice. I can give you this advice without folks thinking I'm trying to get you to hire me since I don't photograph weddings anymore. I think the most important decision you will make in planning the wedding is the photographer you choose. This is why...When the wedding is all over after all those months you spent making it the most absolutely perfect day it could be, this is what happens. The dress is sealed and put in storage, the cake and reception food is all eaten, the flowers are all gone. All you have left to remind you of the most special day of your life is the wedding portraits. Therefore, it's imperative that the be the BEST they could possibly be. When I was a wedding photographer it amazed me how much money was spent on all the other things like the dress, flowers, reception, etc, but then folks seemed to try to cut corners on their pictures. I may feel this way since I'm a photographer, but I truly feel like the photography is the most important thing since it's the only thing that will last as long as the marriage does. So be sure to hire a TRUE professional and not just someone to take snapshots of your special day! I promise you will NOT regret it! Best wishes to You and Logan.
